This time showing one of my new umbrellas.
No there won't be a third one... or maybe in a year or so. I should stop boring you guys with sillhouettes, but I guess I'm addicted.
I'd realy like to give you an "advanced critique" bu honestly, your image is perfect by my standards ! The silhouette is great and shows just the needed nuances. The colours are subtle and the composition couldn't be better... Maybe the little part of the umbrelle that is cropped in the upper part of the image ?
"hmm... square format, excellent pose and color scheme, shadow detail is well depicted, just enough to make out who it is, but too much..."
I can't make out what you mean by "but too much"?
I wanted to keep the colours of the umbrella genuine, they're not as heavy as you might think they are. I think that here on DA there are too much of those "oversaturated" images. I didn't want to overdo it.
But I like sillhouettes. I love this piece the colors and everything are beautiful, the only thing that gets me are the shoes. I think the heel kind of distracts from the whole. Other than that, lovely and wonderful as always.
As far as saturation goes, I completely understand, In fact, I cant think of one image off mine of the top of my head that I have ever enhanced the saturation (unless it was desaturation, of course... speaking of which, the desaturation process is about 100 times more intense than you'd think!)
keep in mind, though... that just because you think that there are "too much of those 'oversaturated' images" on dA, doesnt mean that you should restrict yourself from doing so if you feel that the image should reflect that. If everyone abided by the rules of individuality in a particular process, then there would be no Ansel Adams landscape work... Everyone and their mother's brother takes photos of the grand canyon, but that doesnt stop others from doing so.

Just real life but on the sunny side...
only things I would suggest is possibly more color saturation in the umbrella, and to rid of the stray hairs in the upper right hand corner.
other than that, beautiful, well done.
